cookies in Netscape vs IE - IE4+ handles cookies, Netscape causing problems
Have a cookie I use to track site access atc. Using Javascript to set. Cookie gets updated at various point also using javascript to set. IE4+ does everything fine. Setting and Getting the cookies work as they should. Netscape (4.51) is not taking a new Set(or update to the existing cookie). I also noticed that Netscape will not immediately recognize the setting of a new cookie. I have to refresh the frames doc once before it will see the cookie. After refreshing it once, it seems to see it ok. But I can not get the cookie to update from my other documents! I have the original cookie set to expire in 1 day, path is set to "/", domain is set to my domain. I have tried it w/ or without the optional parameters(domain/path/expire). The original cookie is set in my main frames doc. It is then updated by various other docs along the way. I am getting a bit tired of trying to keep netscape happy. IE seems far more tolerent and intuitive.(And you dont know how much that pains me to say that) If anyone can please shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

Wish I could help, but I just don't know cookies that well. Hopefully someone in the know can help out.
