I am wanting to put a map on my website that will show poi's that I list. Does anyone have a suggestion. I am really at a loss here. I tried goggle and yahoo, but they only list one at a time. I want it to show like yahoo does when you are trying to find a restaurant in a town, or a hotel....... But I want only the poi that I list, with the option of choosing what categories are shown.

Are you sure you can't do that with Google maps? I don't know about the categories part but I'm pretty sure you can do that with a list of locations. Have you checked the API reference?
