buttons
What is it that makes several of the navigation buttons disappear when one is clicked on? I see this with almost every site that buttons for the nav. Just curious. Didn't know if it was a coding problem or is it just going to happen no matter what.

I think its a javascript thing, the buttons (mouseover) havent fully loaded when clicked (not preloaded) well thats my guess anyway lol

Hi,
Since I'm only guessing on what you mean, I'll have to agree with Busy. Take vBulletin, for example, there are many times that I click before the page has fully loaded, making the unrendered buttons & images never appear and the semi-rendered disappear.
If that's not what you are talking about, post a url

The guys are right, more often than not it is because a lazy developer didn't preload the nav images
personal note:
PEOPLE who do not preload their nav images are breaking one of the ten commandments of the web. I don't know which number, but it is up their with leaving alt tags blank and tartan backgrounds with blue text!!!

Oh, I see now. Busy and Vincent were right on this one. If a button is clicked on before the whole page is loaded some of the others will disappear. But if you wait they don't. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't something wrong with my preload.
Case closed!!
Thanks
