Browser hanging up

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a question for me. I maintain a web site, the URL is http://members.aol.com/jproscenium. I've experineced problems viewing the site using IE where my system hangs up and I have to re-boot. It usually happens when I am scrolling up or down through a page. Other people have told me that they have experinced hangs when viewing the "Recent Productions" page. On this page you should be able to place the mouse over an image and the image changes and music plays. I personally have not had a problem with that page. I know of no problems being experienced using NS, just IE. My main concern is this: Is there possibly something I'm doing with my html/javascript code that could be contributing to this, or is it a problem with IE, the persons system, or some combination? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Bob,

Just a comment -- My system hangs when scrolling a lot and on a lot of sites. But only when I'm using AOL's browser. (Which I'm using now; so I'm too :0 right now to go to your site & check it out. Sorry.)

(there was a period in the one in your post)

I don't know why you are experiencing hanging, but I would suspect that on that page it is related to the size of the files and the amount of files being downloaded. As well as the types of files.

IE seemed to be perpetually downloading, which sometimes makes it appear to hang, or actually hang.

hth,

Suzanne
