Anybody use Netobjects please? Question about CSS + Search Box

I am using NetObjects 7 to run my store.

(1) I have tried changing the text link font colors such as the hover one, ALINK, VLINK etc. I have done this via the style.css file. However, whenever I change the page from within Netobjects, it overrides the style.css file attributes and reverts to the colors used in Netobjects.

How can I set the style.css value to override the colors in Netobjects please? I have spent ages trying to work it out!

(2) There is no mention made of a search box in the manual. How can I add a search box to my website with Netobjects 7 please?
