I haven't been here for a long time. I'm glad to see these forums still look the same. I'm hopefull that I'll get great help here like I used to a few years ago when I was a regular here at webmaster-forums.

Here's my situation:

Xp was installed on this system without a network connection. It just boots up straight into the Administrator account without requiring any log on.

From the limited rights user accounts, outlook express cannot be run even after full rights have been granted to theses users on the program's directory.

These users need to be able to use outlook express from their accounts, although they very well might all be using the same email account.

How do I do this?

Also, I'm going to want to install IIS on this system to test asp 3 pages. Will I have problems with this the way the system is set up?

Thanks in advance

remove the user and recreat the user as a staderd use, when you put too much security it might not work.

outlook express store thire data on the profile DIR so you dont need to give the user rights. but you need to give them the right to run the program.
