Wireless Networking
Anyone used any of the wireless networking products available? I'm looking for a PC card system that will connect into my existing Linksys EtherFast router/hub so that I can have DSL speed Internet access from my lawn chair outside this summer. All I need is a wireless access point and a PC Card as the rest of my office is already wired. Any suggestions?

I haven't used them yet. I saw a review of the products in the latest PC World magazine, the print addition.
I am of the opinion that they are just about there but not quite. They are still a bit expensive and slow but they will come around shortly.

It looks like the access points cost upwords of $250. I should be able to use a PC card on my notebook and a PCI card on my desktop to link per-to-per without the access point though. This would cost a lot less but means my desktop has to be on. Still looking though
