Windows in Virtualization or dual-boot
I just got a new laptop and I plan to use it for both Linux (regular work) and Windows testing. Do you think it would be better to do a dual-boot or should I run windows in virtualization? I'm leaning towards virtualization.

Hi Megan,
Most people seem to prefer virtualization, probably because of the incentive that they don't need to reboot.
You should checkout virtual box http://www.virtualbox.org/

Well, too late, I went for virtualization. Ubuntu now installed and happy
Is virtual box the best way to do this or are there other options?

Well there is other virtualization software you could use such as VMWare and Xen.
It may be worth checking out the Ubuntu forums as I think they have a category specificly on virtulization and the guys there will be able to be more specific than I can.

Oh, right, VMware is the one my husband uses. I'll check out Ubuntu Forums...
