Software for converting Analog to Digital
Does anyone know of any software program that you have to install to your PC for Sony camcorder where the analog signal is converted to digital for storing the images to the harddisk?
Thanks.

Have you looked at any video capture cards? Most can take in Coaxial, and composite. Is that what you need?

No I have not tried it, on the TV it works fine but I tried using XingPeg but it couldn't work,
The booklet did mention about Coaxial cable so I suppose you may be right, I will try again or contact the distributor/manufacturer support for the proper usage.
Thanks anyway.

You many have to run the video through a VCR first... just depends on all your connections.
I have a pinhole camera that has composit out. My capture card has coax in, composite out. So I plugged the pinhole into my VCR's composite in, and then from the VCR coax out to my PC coax in. A bit outa the way, but gets the job done.

If there is no answer on Google, then there is no question.

Yep, I found it at
http://www.creative.com/destinations/videoblaster/moviemaker.asp
It's called Video Blaster Moviemaker
The Creative Video Blaster MovieMaker is a USB device that allows the real-time encoding of analog audio and video from popular sources such as Hi-8 and VHS-C camcorders, VCRs, or television.
Thanks Mark for the idea and started searching the web and finally found it.
