Server Question
I am new to this forum just to let you know.
Anyway, I have a question. I have an old computer that has 475 mhz, not the fastest machine, but it's old. I also have 128 mb ram. The thing is i want to turn this into a server. I can hook it up to the server that we have at work, an OC3 line (I've checked it out and am allowed to do so ) However, I don't know the first thing about turning it into a server.
I have heard many things about starting a server but still have no idea on how to do it. So would any help me out and tell me what i need to do it, like what software ect. i need.
Thanks
tek.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but here is some info on how to turn it into a FTP server: http://www.ftpplanet.com/ftpresources/pc_ftpserver.htm
