problems saving non-.bmp graphics from browser window
At work I'm on a Win2K and IE6. Whenever I try to save a jpg or a gif from the browser it changes the suggested name to untitled and only gives me the choice of bmp. I do have both jpg and gif file types set to be opened by a grpahics program so it's not that the computer shouldn't recognize the file types. If I double click on a jpg or gif file on my computer it will open fine. Also, if I type the ending .jpg or .gif it will work but it just doesn't come up as a choice in the save as pulldown menu. Anybody know what that's all about?

Usually that means that your browser cache is full. In IE, click Tools/Internet Options, then choose Delete Files from the Temporary Internet Files area.

Thanks. I'll give that a shot when I get back to work.
