Problems in command prompt?
When I go to start->run->cmd... it pops up my MS Dos prompt for Windows XP. It starts at "C:\Documents and Settings\KandieMan>". However, when I type in "ipconfig" it tells me this:
Quote: 'ipconfig' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
If I do this, it does work:
Quote: cd..
cd..
cd windows
cd system32
ipconfig
however, I KNOW I didn't have to used to do this, and I am not sure exactly what would have changed that I suddenly have to do it now...
Any ideas?

ipconfig.exe is found in the system32 folder not your documents and settings folder (or any other sub folders)

It is probably a path thing. Try this:
Go to System Properties->Advanced->Environment Variables->System variables and locate PATH. Add C:\windows\system32 at the end if it is not already there.
