When I open a new window on my puter, the screen is not quiet maximized. Is there something that I can do to make each new window open at its maximized position?

Yeah, this works for awhile. Maximize the window by dragging the edges from screen to screen, not by the icon next to the close window in the top right corner, that you just opened, hold down the shift key while closing the window. Then next time you open it, it will be maximized. There is also a registry hack that I should be able to give you if you want.

Yep, worked for about an hour. LOL
An regisrty hack ACK! ACK! you say? Don't think I want to go there.

Thanks anyway Mairving. Guess I will survive. It seems that my computer has so many stupid little quirks all the time. And I seem to post more than everyone else in the computer help section too.

Don't worry about it. Remember, there are no dumb questions and you'll be smarter in the end by asking questions now than not in the first place. Smiling
