I just got a new computer (thank god for that, i couldn't stand my last computer).

The problem here is i dont think there is a CD/DVD DRIVER installed in my computer. I go to hardware profiles and i dont see it. When i put a CD in the drive nothing loads up. When i go to MY COMPUTER>>DEVICE WITH MOVABLE STORAGE>> i only see FLOPPY DRIVE and not the CD drive.

Does anyone here know where i could download a driver or what i could do? I tried looking around the microsoft website but had no luck.

I will contact my pc manufacturers tomorrow (since they're closed now) but for the meantime i am eagered to resolve this problem.

My computer is a Tiny Computer with Windows XP 1800,

any help would seriously be appreciated!

Thanks.

More than likely the IDE cable came loose in shipping. When it first boots up, you should see your CD-ROM listed.
