Need help - Virtual memory problem!
I'm about to go insane. When XP loads and I double click on my name (user) to get to the desktop I get a "virtual memory loss" error. Windows tries to load for about 20 seconds, but I then get the error (never arriving to the desktop). Windows then tries to correct the error by itself (15 -20seconds), but I get a "this computer does not have a license" error. Basically, I can't even get to my desktop to go to My computer or anything. What do I do next?

Sounds like your XP installation is corrupt ... Try booting from the install disk and reinstalling over the current install ... If you have important files on it boot to safe mode first to see if you can get in and get those files first ... If there are no important files then I would quick format the drive and do a full reinstall.
Just in case you didn't know how: To boot to safe mode start pressing the F8 key during the post to get the boot options screen. then choose the "safe mode with networking support" option ...
