Please help me. I have tried asking Umax support but there has been no reply. My scanner is a SCSI card based and it is working fine in win 98.
Please help me soon...

Is it USB? I have a Microtek that is still hooked up to my other old Win98 machine and Microtek refuses to release new drivers. Have you checked their web site for updated drivers?

My Scanner is not a USB but run on SCSI CARD. I have tried but they say that the scanner is not designed to run in 32bit application and hence say that it might not work in win 2000 and XP.
I will try once more with UMAX but if anyone knows how to install it then do write to me here...

It's really up to the company that makes the hardware, you can't really fix it if it doesn't work. Unfortunately, that's one of the prices you'll have to pay for a stable, reliable, and secure OS.
Eventually, users need to move on - using older, ancient software is not going to be compatable with the future of computing (XP), so we're going to have to upgrade.
