lenux Installation
Hi.
I just got a 5 cd set of lenux 9.0 and wanted to install it on a new formatted hard drive.
What I want to do with it is set up a server to host a website but have no experience on how to do it or where to start so I have not started the installation.
Can someone give me some info or point me to a tutorial (no tutorial came with the set) on how or where to start.?
Will I need to install a windows application first ?
Thanks

It's Linux What brand are you using? SuSE, Mandrake etc
You need to enter the bios and make your computer load from the cd drive, and the setup will walk you through the rest.

Do you mean Linux? Which distribution do you have? Red Hat? Mandrake? Slackware?
Or is "Lenux" a distro I've never heard of before?
Usually, you install Linux from CD by putting the CD in the drive and booting up. Unless you got Gentoo or Debian (which I doubt you have), it'll load up an installation wizard of some kind, depending on the distro...

Thanks for the replies.
It says, SuSE linux 9.5 on the covers
I guess I'll set it to boot from cdrom and just follow the setup as stated above and take it from there.
