Anyone use it, know of it ...?

Am thinking of trying it (am networking) but am also considering dumping windows, apart from sending me to their website, can anyone brief me on things I can do with it (apart from what ipcop is made for), what can I run on the linux, commands, programs ...?

am after anything useful
