Illustrator question

Hi all-
I'm new to this site.
Got a question. Probably simple for some....
I work on a mac 10.5.7 and use illustrator along with Photoshop etc.
I'm a graphic designer.
Every time I turn on my computer Illustrator boots up by itself.
How do I stop this from happening?
Anyone...

Gosh, I used to use Macs in the eighties, but I haven't used one since.

I doubt it will be anything to do with Illustrator, it'll be the way your Mac is set up. There should be a menu on the Mac desktop which allows you to set the user options. I'm not really familiar with the latest Mac OS, so I can't be more specific.
