Deleting Hidden Uploaded Files
Hello,
I downloaded a file from a p2p program and now I have files that I did not download that are located on my computer C:/Uploads
I have deleted them however; every time I restart my computer those files keep coming back. How can I delete them for good? Also, could I have more unwanted files somewhere else in my computer that I don’t know about?
Thanks so much for your help!
Michelle

Start -> run -> msconfig
Some versions of Windows don't have them but you can just download it (google). Go have a look in the startup tab and see what shouldn't be there.

First try using this program. http://www.lavasoft.de
If that doesn't work (it should) I would try run these programs in safe mode and that should clear it up.

Spybot S&D- http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
If you still have problems (highly unlikely), I would use the adware program and free virus scan on the trendmicro website.

If you at all wonder how I know this.. It is because about a month ago, I had an adware program that I just could not remove! So, hopefully that works for you and good luck.
