Creating TAR Archives
At the moment I'm making a skin for my forum, and most forum software requires that the skin be zipped up into a tar archive. So I went into winzip and it doesn't support it. Anyone know of a program that can create tar archives?

Tar (linux) supports it. To tar a file from the shell in Linux:
tar cvf - filenames file.tar
I think that WinAce supports it in Windows.

Another software to check is winrar. The site says, "WinRAR provides complete support for RAR and ZIP archives and is able to unpack CAB, ARJ, LZH, TAR, GZ, ACE, UUE, BZ2, JAR, ISO archives." It prolly means it can only create RAR and ZIP, but anyway...

If there is no answer on Google, then there is no question.

WinRAR rocks, except the cost and then it nags you, but you can still use it. It actually compresses files more than WinZip, so I use it.
