Clear address bar in IE6
Someone accidentally entered form input stuff into the URL bar and asked how to clear it. So how does one clear stored strings in the address bar (and the cache and history) in IE6/WinXP?
It's been so long since I've touched Windows and IE that I've forgotten how to do this. It sounds simple enough, but I can't find anything for it. I think it was somewhere in Tools > Internet Options, but I can't see anything of use in there.
What am I missing?

I'm missing nothing, it seems. IE is indeed as bad as I feared. I had to dig in the registry to find the strings.
For future reference, I found them in HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Internet Explorer > TypedURLs.

Same thing happened to me a while back, I had to delete cookies, so I was a little upset about that

Simple. Clear the recent document list on your start up menu. This will also clear the address bar in IE. Dunno why, I only found out by accident!

And I thought Windows was "easy to use". -1 for Microsoft and privacy.

so you still can't get rid of individual entries? you have to clear the whole thing?
