Cannot activate Office 2007?
I have Office 2007 Beta 2 TR up and running, but it wants me to activate it. Everytime I go to activate it, it takes about a minute and then says:
"The product activation system is temporarily offline. Please retry to connect in a few minutes"
(This has been the message for more than 24 hours...)
I was okay with just this "nag screen" while in beta, except as of today now all the buttons, etc. are disabled so now I NEED to activate...
What can I do!?

It honestly sounds like their product activation system is offline! There are two ways you can deal with this:
Wouldn't recommend you do the second as it's probably illegal.
This is yet another thing that keeps me happily using Open Source/Free software: you install it and it just works. None of this EULA, nagware crap to wade through, where you could quite easily be agreeing to anything.
The other thing to remember is that it's Beta software, some service on MS' end being down isn't really suprising. You shouldn't be using Beta software in a production environment.

Hi,
For Microsoft Office 2007, follow these steps:
1) Start any office program.
2) In the Office Activation Wizard, click the “Activate by using Internet” option, and then click “Next”.
3) Click “Submit” to send your information to the Microsoft licensing servers.
4) Click “Finish”
