Hi I have just joined ehosting.co.uk and tried to upload files for the first time. I get a "550 permission denied" message after getting through to their server. After using godaddy without ever encountering this is this a service provider problem. All of my permissions on my control panel seem fine. Thanks

Hi and welcome to TWF
550 permission denied means pretty much that usually. I.E. you don't have permission to access the file(s)/folder(s) you are trying to access.
I presume you got this error using an FTP client?
As you have just changed to a new host, and although this might sound like an obvious question, have you changed the username, password, port and hostname you have setup in your FTP client to be correct for your new host account?
You are accessing a different server now so that new server's control panel username etc should be used. If you have already changed all this you could double check them.
If you are sure the login details in your FTP client are correct as per the servers control panel, then I would suggest contacting the host. Check their FAQ/support and raise a support if you can't find an answer.

Another thing, make sure what directory you are in. Some servers when you FTP in your default folder is your web folder, some are your "home" folder and then you have to go to your web folder.
